The Sweet and Down Low
I have always love to lie…no make that tell tales. But, truthfully, aren’t all writers liars? We take the so-called truths of life, and twist them into little white lies, or big black lies. To me, that is what is fun about writing. For good or bad, it’s a world of your own making.
Which means, that whatever else you achieve in your writing, you should have fun with it. Even if you are writing stories of monsters, both the human kind or the under the bed monsters, it should thrill you. Don’t be so hard on your own words. Let them do their job and enchant you, and if they do, then chances are your story will embrace your reader, too.
Remember…
